An apology to all Jordanian and Arab Bloggers

Dear Bloggers,

I am writing this post in hope of finding forgiveness. I came to realize that I have been rude to many of you, that my mere presence has been a negativity in many of your blogging experiences, and throughout most of my previous posts, I have insulted, annoyed, and hurt the feelings of some of the best Jordanian bloggers out there.

I have certainly crossed the humor red line into an area only known to those that are shameless, ungrateful, and disrespectful of others way of life, opinions, and the way they choose to express their thoughts. Unfortunately, I have enjoyed a way of blogging foreign to Jordanians' known sense of hospitality.

You may have noticed that I haven't posted in the past few days. That was only to dispel any doubts that this post could be in any way connected to the April's Fools prank phenomenon. I am truly genuine in writing these lines, as I could not have done it otherwise.

I only hope that you can find it in your hearts to accept my sincere apologies. I would like to start a new phase in which humor will know its boundaries, one that will serve a purpose, and one that strives to bring a smile to your faces everywhere you might be.

Dear Bloggers, it is a cruel world, nothing will change it if we get mad at each other or if we frown. It is a world that expects us to enjoy it to the fullest. I, for one, will try and make that possible.

Sincerely,

Wa7ad Garfan.

Ya Wa7ad, thanks for this! AND, for letting us know it wasn't an April Fools joke.

I'd rather see one, honest response like this than 100 fake expressions of un-real friendship.

good for you, and I'll keep reading!

You know until someone mentioned it I thought your alias was mab3ooth meaning representative or ambassador.

You don't have to obscene to speak your mind!

Anon 1,
berhabsy yes, berhabsy no, Exactily I don'ty know.

Kinzi,

Thanks. You are welcome anytime.

Anon 2, You can't call me طنط and say ئرفان in the same sentence. Its like a pot calling the kettle black.

Hamede,
أهلا و سهلا

Mioush,
I tried. but, some had already grabbed the "garfan" name!

Hani,

I don't think I am being obscene. Mab3oos is a word used in daily conversations.
