what you need:
- 4 cups all purpose flour
- 4 cups warm water
- 1 packet instant yeast
- a sprinkle of salt
- put all dry items in blender, turn on, and count to two Mississippilessly
- add the warm water and blend. look for a consistency of a smoothie
- heat a nonstick frying pan without grease
- pour enough mix to make the size you like
- wait until bubbles form and then pop, remove to a plate with a spatula. if you burn the bottom before bubbles pop and the top is dry, the pan is too hot, fahim?
- walnut, sugar, coconut, and cinnamon, or (not and, or!)
- Akkawi cheese, or
- قشطة

Wow, you took all the guns out for this one, eh? Expected you to start with something like fattoush or rice. This is 'hard core'ish. looking forward to the next recipe.

KJ,
you're welcome anytime. Just don't use the Microwave to cook the qatayif!
Whisper,
let me know how it goes. if you were surprised by qatayif, you will like whats coming!
Nizar,
even if bad, let us. How else am I going to make fun of you!
Noura and Jano,
I thought I would start with Qatayif since it is an exclusive Ramadani sweet. I will branch out into Salad, Soups, and main dishes of course.
