what you need:
- potatoes
- tomatoes
- a few garlic cloves
- meat (chicken is preferred, but lamb or beef are OK)
- spices: 1ts salt, 1/2ts pepper, 1/2ts cumin, 1/4ts cinnamon, 1/2ts nutmeg
- a little water
- cube the tomatoes, slice the potatoes, and peel the garlic
- cut and wash the meat into pieces as big as the potato slices
- put everything in a big bowl
- add the spices and mix everything well to distribute the spices
- put into a baking pan
- poor a cup of water into the pan
- cover with aluminum foil
- and bake on high heat. check periodically and add water if dry. It usually takes about 30-45 mins
- uncover the pan, drain the water out (if any), and put back in the oven for a toasted top!

not sure about the meat/chicken tho, im still a newbie :\
but i have a "silly" question.. how should the chicken pieces look like? and are they to be put with other things while still raw?
any part of the chicken can be used. with bones or without. Whatever is available. I don't mean for these posts to be fancy.
You can either boil the chicken before you put with the rest, or put everything together. I wouldn't worry about cross-contamination of raw meat as long as you cook everything and bring it to the safe cooking temperature, which is surpassed by baking on high to 30-45 minutes.

Also; if using chicken, skip the tomatoes and instead of water add a cup of heavy cream, grate some cheese on top and you got a chicken gratan!! Yum!
