I hope you're not suggesting that everyone stops being Jordanian just because there wasn't a country called Jordan years ago.
What is a country other than a land and people building it.. everyone of us has to take care of both for a better future.. at least this is what i believe.
Implying that the Hashemites are not Jordanians means JFPOs and others are not considered Jordanians if I am following you right.
You do not choose where or who you come from. You choose how loyal you want to be to this country. That's the only way you could use to measure how Jordanian someone is.
mmm ... there were be no JORDAN without the hashemites revolution, or whatever you like to call it. JORDAN was created as a country before the term (JORDANIAN) came, not like (other) countries,or @ least most of them. without the hashemites and what happened earlier in the 1900's .. this area (west of the river) .. would be devided between Syria as a mother country (not implyig the now-syria) ... and some Bedoos/bedwens whatever they call them these days whose have no link to the term (jordanian) or to any form of loyalty to any kind of modern states! .. do you know about Saudi flag raise in MA'AN ... ?? do you know about (Al-majedya country)?? = Al-Odwan country?? .. actually the way i see it, is Jordan is really rulled by Jordanian 100% ...
the origin of a king was never an issue, Queen Elizabeth is of German Origin, Napoleon was born in an Italian Island rented by France, Hitler is Austrian, Stalin is Georgian and Obama is Kenyan, that didn't stop any of them from serving their countries, their people and their causes with full efforts also, you must understand that Jordanian's do not come from one village or one town, in the south you have Bedouin tribes, in the middle you have Belqa clans, in the north you have a complete separation like there are 2 different ethnic groups which are Zou'bi and Fala7, on top of that you have Palestinians, Circassians, etc.. Do you think they can be ruled by a Jordanian, if yes then who? There is no one.
Only possible person that could have ruled Jordan was Wasfi El Tal, who was Jordanian by birth and blood, respected by all Jordanian’s, fought and got wounded defending Palestine, he died with empty chests, no money and in debit to the ministry of agriculture for buying a tractor that he drove himself in his farm

I agree. that wasn't the point of the post, though. My point is that Jordan is the only Arab country not ruled by a Jordanian.

I suggest we start a religion and replace Islam in Jordan, call it "wasfi-haza3" and start worshiping those two gods.
